Re: College Football 2008

How about ol' PSU putting 66 points on the board today!!

The Big Ten Network announcers said PSU looked more impressive than Ohio State today.

Were they wearing Coach Paterno's coke-bottle lenses at the time?

Congrats to Coach for tying Bowden!

Re: College Football 2008

I can't believe this thread has been so dead! Especially on a football Saturday! Unk, I'm beginning to think that my Nittany Lions are a bit underrated and your Buckeyes are a bit overrated. Two weeks ago I would have said hands down Ohio State would beat us this year, but I'm beginning to think there might be an upset in the brewing...

We get Beanie Wells back in the lineup next week and we'll be fine.

Re: College Football 2008

I certainly can't disagree with the Buckeyes dropping a couple of positions. But how 'bout them 'Dores! Vanderbilt gets some votes after beating then ranked 24th South Carolina! Take that Steve Spurrier.

Re: College Football 2008

Every time we win, we drop a couple of notches. Thank goodness USC is coming up--a good loss should jump us right back up in the polls

Re: College Football 2008

WEll Newf, ya'll just keep on winning, you'll be number 25 soon!

Gators did well against Miami. Have a bye week this week and then it's back to back conference games starting with Tennessee and going 8 games. (we do get another bye week between LSU and KY)

(I was thrilled to see SC lose to Vandy. I'm really becoming a Gamecock hater. )

After Clemson's opening loss to Alabama, all the Clemson fans here (and there are tens of thousands) were over the moon about the big win over the Citadel. None were too amused when I likened it to playing North Charleston High School. We get our own shot at the Citadel in Nov. Which we'll need after 8 straight conference games in between
