    Re: College Football 2008

Ashley, I waited and waited for you to post the weeks poll results. I'm lost without them. Sure I could look them up myself..........

And I love that you got both Unk and Newf to do the avatar change.

They'd never agree to do that with me, would you boys?

Until Florida has to meet PSU, I'm going to join in this week and say: PSU rocks!

He is a definite hottie in person. We were walking around the stadium trying to find the gate where we were supposed to go, and I saw all these cops. The one cop was kind of escorting this guy and I thought to myself, "Uh oh, there was a fight and these guys are getting escorted away." Then I saw LeBron James walking amongst all the cops and he is quite huge in person. I couldn't think of his name for a long time. I had to call my brother and finally he told me that it was LeBron James I saw because he had been on College Gameday that morning.

After the game, the PSU fans stayed at the Shoe and were cheering and such while the ESPN GameDay guys filmed their closing postgame segments. I got a pretty good pic of the guys up close.

And here is a view from my seats

Wow, how about that Texas-Texas Tech game? Tech scores with one second left to go up by 7. What a helluva game. Tech gets hit with a 15 yd. unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on the ensuing kickoff for the fans storming the field. Tech wins 39-33 after intercepting the lateral from Texas on the kickoff.

OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!!! Did you watch the Texas/Texas Tech game? It was craaaaazy!! Penn State's chances at the National Championship are looking very, very good at this point.

MRD- Florida did a nice job today. I'm the only one in our Pick'Em League who picked Florida to win. Those silly guys just don't have faith in our teams I guess.

But my team will still be ahead of yours at the end of the day also.

Oh yeah, Unk, do you recall this post you made on 9/26?

Yep, I think I'm up for that one.

Thanks Ashley. They just didn't give Georgia an inch until late in the game.

With Texas losing and Georgia losing, now we can move back up in the polls.

And by the way, I HATE Verne Lunquist and Gary Danielson. We've had another sports team calling games most of the year and today they were back. They can't shut up, they say the most inane crap and they rag on Florida until it's obvious who's going to win and then they switch alligences.
