    ROCK CHALK JAYHAWKS, GO KU!!

This town was going crazy last night! 40,000 people swarmed downtown, almost half the population of Lawrence. It was insane. Gotta love those boys of ours!

Congrats to the Lady Vols of the University of Tennessee for winning their 8th NCAA championship and the second time they have won back to back championships. It marked an unprecedented eighth national championship for Tennessee. All have come under Coach Pat Summitt, the winningest coach in NCAA history, who also claimed her 983rd career victory Tuesday night. Way to go!

Wow, that's impressive! I don't have any cable sports channels (only basic cable) so its kinda sad that we don't hear much about the women's basketball season. Thanks for posting this, Unklescott. Their coach sounds awesome!

Pat Summit is hard as nails but she's also compassionate. When one of her players hurt her knee last night, you could hear her saying "Try to relax sweetie." She's been around forever and is truly one of the best college coaches of any sport, male or female.
