College Football 2007

This was a fun college football season.
I can hardly wait for the next season to begin!!!

Eventually the NCAA & the BCS committee are going to realize that Ohio State just can't hang with the SEC.

. Razorbacker, I'm so glad someone else recognizes this.

The Big Ten is not the conference it once was and the SEC is now the conference to beat. Lots of really strong, good teams playing in the SEC right now. (despite that we are just a bunch of Big Dumb Thugs according to Jim Delany)

But like Rodney Dangerfield, "we dont' get no respect".

It was a really interesting season, can't wait for next year.

17 different teams in the top 5 rankings this year. Next year should be interesting as well.

The Gators will be back next year for the BCS game with our academically adept (3.8 GPA) and socially accepted Heisman trophy winning QB, Tim Tebow.

Nah, Buckeye fans are the most extreme optimists. When the polls tell us our team is number 1, we tend to believe them.

Buckeyes are 0-9 with SEC teams in bowl games. That much you can believe.

So I tend to think that being number one is subjective.

The whole system is flawed and needs to be corrected. But then, if it was, we couldn't all poke so much fun at each other could we?

Part of the fun for me is to have rivalries and to egg each other on, trash talk, etc. It's all in good fun, right?

Now I really have nothing to do until Sept.

Well even I'm feeling sorry for you guys now.

We used to live in the Tampa Bay area and for 27 years endured the Buccaneers losing seasons, The Devil Rays just might as well not even bother, but then we had a good year with the Bucs winning the superbowl and the Lightening winning the Stanley cup and the USF Bulls did ok this year.
But for a long time it sucked to be a sports fan in and around Tampa too.
