Congrats on the win. I had feeling they would win.

    Sorry, mrd.

Sorry MRD! I was rooting for you.

Why are the Illini even in this game? :
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

Because The Big Ten champs who usually go to this game are playing in the BCS championship game. You know, that school from Columbus:

    THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY BUCKEYES!

I wish the best for your Buckeyes Unk, but there aren't many other than OSU and LSU fans who believe the 'BCS championship game' will determine the best team in college football.

I'd much rather see the old glory days relived with a USC and OSU Rose Bowl match up.

Be glad you weren't sitting next to me at the end of the game. (and thanks for pulling for the Gators, should have had my black eyed peas BEFORE the game)

Well now that the Capital One Penalty Bowl is over, all I have to say is:

DAYUM, they grow those boys BIG in Michigan.
I thought we were playing a NFL team from the size of those players.

Even though we lost, it was a very exciting game. Back and forth, ups and downs. I would have preferred we won, but I like the exciting games like that. Like it better had the outcome been different.

All I have to say now is:

    GO LSU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like you, I am a sports fan first and a team fan second. I'm never happy when my team loses, but I can still enjoy the game.

Wow, did USC win or what? My girlfriend will be sad that her alma mater lost, though.

But I'm glad the Pac 10 is doing well in bowl games

Yep, while I'm very (obviously ) team loyal, I do enjoy a good game. And I like to yell at the tv (like they can hear me. )

I had planned on watching more bowl games. I wanted to see Auburn and Clemson, but we've been so busy, that I barely got the Gator game in. (was that a LONG game or what???)

I love sports. Most sports. Not a big baseball fan unless I can be there in person. It tends to be boring for me on tv, but I love to attend games when I can which isn't often.

And in recent years I've discovered hockey. I still don't know much about it, but I like the action.

My only regret is that boxing is just not as much fun to watch as it used to be. My dad was a huge boxing fan and I grew up watching Ali, Foreman, Holyfield, Leonard, etc.
And I refuse to pay $50 to watch it on pay per view too.

When I went to Florida, we went to everything. Gymnastics, swimming, basketball, baseball and of course, football.

Well next year should be exciting. With a young team like Florida, it should be a great season as they can only grow.

On a really crappy note, our station was having broadcast difficulties and I missed SEVERAL plays because of it all through the game. The worst one was when they put Harvin in as QB. I saw him receive the snap and the tv went black. I was cussing up a storm. We missed about 2 or more minutes and the touchdown that tied it up at 28. I hated that.
