Despite having lost to LSU this year, I'm still pulling for them. Got to support the SEC. THE greatest conference in college football at the present time.

I don't know about the subtlety thing, after all YOU got it!!!

If by "THE greatest conference in college football at the present time" you mean "the most self-aggrandizing conference of all time" then you are absolutely right

Nope, I mean the conference with some of the toughest teams playing today.
I don't think any of the other conferences have as many good teams as the SEC currently has.

It's a very strong conference at the present time.

Still love you though, misguided as you are!

I shudder to think what you would think about the Pac 10. I consider it the most under-recognized division. Well, unless you are talking about UCLA (the boohooins, I call em), Oregon State University or WS. (One of my fav T-shirts has a pic of a duck, a huskie and a beaver. Next to each pic is one of the following words: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.)

Just as teams can change from year to year, conferences change too.

Personally I think that right now the SEC as a conference has become a pretty strong conference over all. There are a lot of SEC teams that are very tough teams. Will it be that way next year? Who knows, maybe one of the other conferences will dominate. But right now, I feel after all te reading I've done, that the SEC has a very strong conference with a lot of good teams and that the other conferences just are not as strong as maybe they once were and may be again.

I could go get a lot of statistics to back this up, but ya'll are going to argue with me anyway, so why bother.

That was one of those southern singular y'alls, wasn't it?

I happen to agree with you.

MRD, just a few more hours until ole Timmy gets that Heisman as a sophmore. Personally, I think it should be McFadden, but all signs are pointing towards Tebow (although, I am still crossing my fingers for an upset ).

Whew, I'm still in time to watch. Thanks again.

Went and put on my Florida shirt, socks and hair clip and earrings. I'm all set.

We're supposed to be somewhere at 9. Think it would be rude to be late or insist they turn the tv on to ESPN???
