Hee! But Mr. Stiffy makes for a funnier story.

One of the sports guys on our radio station was talking the other day about how the Michigan/Penn State game was just a pillow fight and Michigan was one piece of a lingerie away from a bad porn movie. For some reason that analogy struck me as funny and I got quite a giggle. This just adds to it.

I was at the USC vs. UW game doing the color commentary for USC's radio station and man was the game horrible! USC had 16 penalties for 161 yards but yet somehow managed to win! I'm glad we're playing Stanford on Saturday so hopefully we can bounce back in a big way and take back the #1 spot from LSU.

Wow, I've been reading about the possilbe forfeit at Michigan. So much drama this season!

Looking forward to saturday. Our local pro teams have stunk up the joint (padres/chargers) thank goodness college football is here. It's more fun to watch anyway

    As it should be.

Can't wait til we beat Stanford... although I hope their QB is okay after suffering a seizure on Sunday.

Kentucky lost. Guess no National Championship for them. Like seeing Spurrier back in the rankings. Never thought I'd say that.

Well its going to take a miracle for Florida to beat LSU tomorrow. I hope they do. But if they can't, then I hope LSU stays number one. Of all the teams in the SEC conference, I'd rather see them go to the title game and win it if we can't.

Spurrier's doing good with the Gamecocks, but even though I live in SC now, I still can't root for them, even though I love Steve.

    at the Michigan dilemma.

I agree with you on one of your points myrosiedog. I do hope that Florida beats LSU or at least embarrasses them because I would love to see USC reclaim the #1 spot in the polls.

I don't think that will be happening for USC this week since they got beat by Stanford. Buckeyes roll over Purdue. If Fla can hang on and beat LSU the Buckeyes should move to #2.
ETA LSU came from behind to win. Looks like the Bucks can only move up 1 position. Not bad for a team that wasn't even ranked in the pre-season top ten.

Well LSU did not play like a #1 team. At least not in the first half and Florida played a LOT better than we have been. It was a very good game for most of it. I really thought my boys would manage to pull this one out.

But I think the announcement that Stanford had beat USC gave LSU the final UMPH to come back from behind.

At least we had a better looking offensive line, more spread of plays other than Tebow runs or Tebow passes to Harvin. And the defense stepped up too. And we didn't get too many penalties which is AMAZING.

And we held that Dorsey back after having to hear what a great player he was and he didn't make a great play until the game was just seconds from finishing.

I really detest Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson. I wish they'd get someone else to announce the games on CBS. Danielson especially makes the stupidest comments. "Les Miles is really stepping up and making the tough decisions and really having to MANAGE this football team deciding on what plays to call". Well duh, he's the head coach, isn't it his job to MANAGE and call plays????
Anyway, they just make me cringe every tine they open their mouths.

I'm disappointed, but it was not unexpected and they played a LOT better than this week against a tougher team than they did last week.

Glad that USF won again. I was really hoping that LSU would lose and then USF would be able to move up a couple more spots in the polls.
Heard yesterday that they sold out Raymond James Stadium in Tampa because of this years record. Heck, that's where the Bucs play and they can't sell out Ray Jay.

What a terrible game (USC-Stanford)! USC just didn't have anything going right for them. Can't blame the officiating (except they rarely called Stanford for holding, which they did consistantly). USC has some really talented players, but they didn't play like a "team". John David Booty is just terrible. He's not a leader, in any sense of the word. Their offensive line just fell apart in the second half, the couldn't catch a ball, JDB threw so many interceptions that I lost count. It was embarassing, to say the least.

Congratulations Unk, your Buckeyes are on a roll. Sorry Gator fans, I was sure hoping your could pull out the win.

I predict either the Trojans wake up ( too late ) or they lose at least two or three more games before the season is over. Cal and Oregon will blow them out, if they play the way they have the last two weeks.

I still love the Trojans, but this team just doesn't seem to have the same heart as previous teams.
