    Re: NFL - Football 2007

I'm a huge Giants fan and I'm still stunned. I really can't believe the Giants are in the Superbowl.

Fun story from the AFC Championship game:
My dad listens to Imus on his way to the train every morning, and on Friday, Imus was talking to Jim Nantz, and they agreed that if Imus gave him a phrase, Jim Nantz would work it into the broadcast somehow. The phrase was, "Just one more cow." I didn't watch the game so I don't remember the player in question (I'll have to ask my dad), but after he made a play, Jim Nantz started talking about how this kid grew up on a farm, and how his dad used to have him out there herding cattle and he used to tell him that he had to herd "just one more cow," or something along those lines. My dad remembered the phrase as soon as he'd heard it, but said that you wouldn't necessarily notice the random phrase unless you'd been listening to Imus. Anyway, thought that was kind of funny...

I'm glad that the giants won because I can really see them at least giving the Patriots a run for their money (like they did on their last regular season game).

As much as I would have loved to see the Packers pull out the win in the NFC, I think the Pats and Giants will be a very good game. The Giants played the Pats tough in Week 17. And most impressive, to me, is how much they've improved their game and really turned the corner in becoming a very good team these last few weeks. If I recall correctly, most teams really struggled through the next week or two after playing the Pats throughout the regular season. The Giants are a great team, and congratulations to them for the victory. Hopefully this will be a great SuperBowl. All that said, Go Patriots!

Mike Alstott, my favorite player, retired today- Buccaneers.com | News A shame to see him go, but knew it had to happen sometime; plus, understand the reasoning and would hate to see him reinjured.

I agree that the SB could be a good, competitive game. I think the Pats will win it, but not by that much, and as I've said I do hope the Giants can pull off the upset.

    wow.

I'm pretty torn. I'm a big Giant's fan. My father loves them. (I take care of him everyday so I watch a lot of football)

    I'm a Pat's fan as well.

I actually hope the Giants win (I am going to a Superbowl party and I'll be quiet about that as all my friends are Pat's fans)

I will say there though.......For my Dad, Go Giants!!

Just for my dad I'll say that. I wish it were the Pats against anyone else.

also, my previous posts, I was KIDDING.......

I am just bummed out and looking forward to baseball .

    Red Sox period.

The Pats will be back next year. Watch out.....

It's going down to the wire. That was a helluva of a throw by Manning and catch by Tyree.
Giants score with 35 seconds left, extra point good 17-14 lead. It appears the Patriots perfect season is over. It would take a miracle for them to win.
    Which didn't happen, Giants win 17 -14.

Not a football fan at all, but that was an incredible ending.
