Doesn't Ellsbury deserve the World Series MVP award for his stolen base last night (the one that guarantees free Tacos next Tuesday, like that wasn't going to happen at some point in the series, LOL). The blurb they showed just afterwards, Lugo (I think) explaining the Taco Bell challenge to a thoughtful Ellsbury. I wonder how many combinations they taped beforehand to ensure they would have it in the can when it happened.

I pray to God it goes to game 7 (not that it will because the rockies are awful) but if it does I will be at fenway! For the first time ever at a playoff game. I can't believe it!

I wish it would have been a cubs/sox matchup- what was that old joke prior to 2004? if the sox played the cubs in the world series no one would win

THose poor Cubs fans....well, I guess anyone can have a bad century, right?

OMG, so you're the one who stole the parrot?!?

I'm hoping game 6 so the win is at Fenway and Schilling can go out in style. I don't want to pin my hopes on Dice-K in game 7, but good luck to you, that would be really exciting.

You can pin them on Dice-K tonight; he's pitching well and he even got an RBI single, with two outs, in the third inning. Considering that he never has to bat in the American League that's amazing.

Dice-K's kicking butt tonight in Game 3!!

They did do it (I think), as it's now 10 to 5 in the bottom of the 9th with 2 out.

Edited to Add: THEY DID DO IT!! They won Game 3, which was the longest 9-inning World Series game at 4 hours, 19 minutes in length.

It'll be interesting to see if they put the Rockies out of their misery tomorrow, in Denver, or back in Boston. I hope they just end it tomorrow night so we can party all next week.

Anybody who says the Red Sox have a bloated payroll and buy superstars have obviously not seen the playoffs, the season or the last century. I didn't choose this team, I was born into it. Such an awesome game tonight. I also wish they could win this at home but not sure I'd be too comfortable with 2 losses.
