So what exactly is a buckeye? I have always wondered.
The Buckeye is the Ohio State tree, but usually we consider the 'nut' from the tree as representative of it.

I prefer the buckeye treat - made of peanut butter surrounded by chocolate -made to resemble the nut.

Yes. We are NUTS for our BUCKEYES here in Ohio.
And you are welcome to enjoy the treat

    I SAY IT'S GREAT

LET'S GO GATORS!!! Let's get us a back-to-back-to-back championship! (Can we call it a 3Peat when there are two different sports involved? )

If Noah is MVP of the game, I'm going to celebrate by having a wild affair with his father. Does that mean I'm officially getting old, when I start lusting after players' parents instead of players?

Oh, so you're team is nuts then? I get it now.

We love those chocolate/peanut butter buckeyes. My sister in law makes them every Christmas for all of us.

Well I'm sure that Gators will love those nuts as well.

Congrats Florida, for the repeat and the dominance of college sports!!.

That said, I found the whole tournament very lackluster, with most of the favorites sailing through fairly easily. Not a lot of upsets and cinderalla stories, and it just lacked excitement. The best brackets in the country were filled out by people who picked no upsets. Ick. To top it off, the rematch of the college football title game was just annoying. No teams deserve to dominate that much (unless it's my Longhorns of course).

Regardless, congrats to the Gators, who were my pick on my bracket. They were clearly the best team this year. I told my OSU friend at the beginning of the season that a team that returns all of it's starters from a national champion, you are the favorite and #1 team until you are knocked out of the tournament, regardless of your season record or ranking. 'Nuff said.

Congrats to BJL'sRacket for the win in this year's FoRT March Madness Pool.
It's a shame that I had the most correct picks (47 out of 63) and came in 9th. That's what happens when you don't pick the right teams to go far enough.

Congrats to the Gators for pulling it off. Those kids did a great job shutting down OSU, Oden had a great game but the rest of the team didn't. Playing as a team got OSU to this game, especially when Oden was on the bench in foul trouble but they weren't able to do that last night. No 3-point shots in the second half until 2 minutes and change left for Ohio State? OSU usually won the points off turnovers battles but Florida was able to grab the rebounds and score the points.

Congrats BJL Racket for finishing in the top spot.
I can't believe where I ended up. I guess picking the champs helps a lot.

Well now I'm stuck with hockey and the Tampa Bay Lightening are not doing all that well this year. It's going to be a long summer once hockey is over. I am NOT a baseball fan at all.

Looking forward to Sept and football again. My FAVORITE!!
