I have to commend his owners, who were dedicated to doing what was best for him to the very end. It's a sad ending to a great horse.

So sad. What a valiant fighter he was. But he must have been suffering, as were all those who cared for him all these months. I'm sure that all the efforts were loving and not to keep him running races, but just to keep him alive living a horse's life.
