Hi Unk,

I read the rules and still not understanding confidence points, sorry.

So do you have to give a value to each team each week?

and I did not understand the following "Each confidence point value may be used only once per week. So during a 15 game week, after you have assigned 15 points to a game, your next highest value is 14". Lost me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Any chance we could play straight up?

TBob, this league has been running for a couple of years, and is very popular on Yahoo, so it's fairly obvious that most people "get this". We're not changing the league if you can't get Yahoo's points system.

If you don't want to play, don't play. If you do, figure it out. It's really pretty simple: you can't assign the same level of confidence to more than one game in a given week.

You have 4 posts, 3 of them in this thread, and we're not changing the rules for you.

Awesome... I'm in! I think I'm the 31st one to sign up. Not bad.

I wonder if Realornot's Rotten Pix should get used to being at the bottom of the list. Maybe I should head over to nfl.com and read some articles.. do a little research. ha/ha

is the group full? i know i typed the password in right.

I have the group set for 50 and we only have 31. Try again and let me know. I'll be in and out of here all day.

Yahoo was having server problems, which appear to be fixed. I wasn't able to set a lineup either last night, but was able to this morning.

I remembered to get my picks in, so that's a good start. Last year the odds page was fairly easy to figure out. The higher the spread, the better chance and all that... This year the odds page is totally confusing.

Anybody elses head spinning?

This first week, I don't even pay attention to the odds at all. (Keep that in mind all you people who are hoping to kick me out of last place.) Every year, I listen to weeks and weeks of analysis before the season starts, and it seems to me that what all the 'experts' think almost never pans out.

Next week, I'll start concentrating a bit more, but I suppose I consider this my pre-season week
