World Cup 2006
Well, thought I'd start this. Only 6 weeks to go. Not sure if I'm dreading or looking forward to this. Already the media are going OTT. Second story on today's BBC evening news is the story of Wayne Rooney's metatarsal injury. Remember Beckham 4 years ago, this is EXACTLY the same injury! AND the farce of who is going to be the new English football manager! :D :D

I dont see how England has any shot in the World Cup...All the hype is on them winning but after Rooney's injury, I fear that what slim chances that were left remaining have been all but destroyed...Still, they are my favorite team and I would love nothing more then for them to win:D

OMG, I can't believe that I am actually going to watch the Fifa World Cup live, this summer! My friend in Germany won tickets, and she's inviting me to watch the one in Frankfurt! Can't wait!

The hockey playoffs have been diverting my attention from the World Cup very nicely for the past month.
No worrying about Rooney, no tutting at the coaching debate.
England won their friendly against Hungary, so that's encouraging at least.
Good game for two of my <---- boys and a great celebration by Crouch. :lol

World Cup Mania has gone into overdrive in Britain. Hoo Haa about Scots politicians supporting Paraguay. Three weeks of school left so World Cup is our topic! Keeps the kids, especially the boys interested! Very motivating!
OH and they can all spell METATARSAL! lol
