Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!" -- Steve Parker

Welcome aboard (you too Gracie!)![]()
Congrats Section 8!!
I knew I'd start out in the cellar. I believe it's where I've started the past two years!!My team was Johnson, Gordon, McMurray, B.Labonte(
), & Hamlin. I really thought Bobby would have a better race..but, then, getting caught up in all of that madness didn't help him! Well, the only way to go is up, right?!!!??
P.S. I don't know why my name is showing up as Bobby's car, I'll try to change it as ESPN, if I can.
you'd think after 2 seasons of doing this i'd have the point system figured out?? after the race nascar had unofficial results that showed nascar points plus bonus points... somewhere along the way i lost some points- which is typical if i remember correctly...
the biggest question at this point- will there be another Eskimo collapse down the stretch?? cant get too excited over these early results...
Congrats Section 8
Well changing my team three times was better than leaving it the way it was at first.I just went with the wrong rookie,(and thank goodness I dropped McMurray). Should have stayed with Truex instead of Hamlin though.
I had
Johnson - 1
Sadler - 4
Junior - 8
Gordon - 28
Hamlin - 31
Congrats Section 8 - way to pick 'em!
I had:
Jimmy Johnson - 1
Jeff Gordon - 28![]()
Dale Jr. - 8
Elliot Sadler - 4
Denny Hamlin- 31![]()
Total 665 - not a bad start.....may have to change it up for Fontana....
On a side note, I hope Tony takes his happypills before the race this week - he didn't look to be in the happy zone on Sunday!
Go Edwards!!!!

Congratulations, section8.
12th is about where I started last year. I second guessed myself and switched out Newman for Gordon at the last minute.![]()
