    500 in rain delay

well we have a rain delay, enjoying some of these commercials. Got some humor this year. How about that wreck Ryan Newman had?!?!?

ok, we're back to racing, man ryan had the thrill ride of the race so far. glad to see him walk away, but he sure had a tude with the reporter that interviewed him. not like him to be that way from what I remember from last year

well it was shortened by the rain, not the finish any race fan really likes to see. Michael Waltrip won the race by being the leader when they called the race. Next week we hope will be a great race and finish all the way to the end. pray for no snow. we don't need a delay like they had a few years ago with 4' drifts in the turns.

yeah that was a good race while it lasted. Wonder if Junior would have gotten both laps back and then up front again. I missed the interview with Ryan, but that was the wildest ride in quite some time, been a while since a car got airborn. I see they still don't have air brakes Good win for Waltrip and DEI, shows they are a force to be reckoned with in NASCAR. Good to see that Dale Earnhardt left a good legacy behind. Next week is Rockingham, lets hope all these snowstorms are over with by then.

That sucks when they have to rain delay the biggest race of the year, and then call it early. I feel bad for you guys.

    Waltrip races for DEI?

well it was only the third time its been called due to rain, the last time was in 68 I think they said. Yep, Michael Waltrip drives for DEI with Dale Junior and Steve Park. You can almost always count on Mike and Dale running good, but Steve is hardly ever in the hunt, for some reason that team just can't get it together. Maybe its the driver.

someone needs to tell Ryan Newman not to stop and smell the roses while he is in a race!
