I'm still in disbelief that Nebraska beat Iowa State yesterday. Double overtime too, I can't believe we pulled it off. My brother is trying to get us tickets to the Oklahoma game later this month. I still don't think the rest of the season is going to be all too pretty.

ROLL TIDE ROLL

an absolute ass whooping of the hated Gators!
5-0, moved up to #7 and our toughest games (LSU, Tenn) are at home this year...
We'd be smelling roses, but Prothro breaking his leg might be the difference in 10-2 and 12-0. (that break was just a little bit less gruesome then the Theismann break)

That was a fun game to watch! With the exception of Zack Taylor's fumble, I thought he looked very good yesterday. If Taylor can keep throwing the ball with some consistency, and the defense keeps playing well, I think Nebraska could have pretty decent season.

Penn State finally beats Ohio State. Nuff said. PSU is not a bottom feeder anymore.

Oh my goodness - Penn State is having a good year! Good for them! We usually root for Penn State, unless they are playing the Wolverine's - then - it is Michigan all the way. However, next week - it is gonna take a miracle for Michigan to beat Penn State.

Interesting year so far in college football- it seems we've gone back to 1980! If you are a traditionalist- you gotta love that USC, Texas, Alabama, Notre Dame and Penn State are all in the top 10!

Speaking of USC - Notre Dame, how about that game? I turned on the television expecting to see the NASCAR race and caught the last 1 1/2 minutes of the game. Awesome!

I watched 3 games today, and all 3 games came down to the last play. An awesome day of college football- with the desired outcomes.
Alabama snuck by Ole Miss, pretty much what i expected- considering the Tide have now lost their 2 best WR's and have become completely one dimensional.
Michigan getting a TD pass on the last play of the game to steal one from PSU.
And what an ending to the USC-ND game. What a ballsy call- the coach calling for Leinart to spike the ball with 7 seconds left, and he sneaks it in- with no timeouts left... all or nothing call there!
