    That comment is spot on Belfastgirl. Andy looks like the local club champion against Federer. Roger is just so much better than anyone right now that it is amazing.

    I'm the exact opposite! I wanted Lindsay to win and am happy Roger did! I normally like to see the "wealth" spread around a bit, but Federer is just so good and I like watching him play so much, that I'd like to see his streak continue.

    I also admired Roddick and thought he was a gracious loser. He didn't begrudge Federer the win and said that he just didn't play well enough to beat him. I hate nothing more than seeing the player who lost bad-mouthing the winner and blaming everything they can think of for not winning themselves. They blame the weather or bad calls or whatever. I always remember Sampras' win at the US Open when he had food poisoning (or maybe the stomach flu). He was vomiting between points and barely able to stand.... and he won anyway.
