Well the Yankees/Angels game is quite the battle. I'm not sure how this is all going to end.

I think the Angels will pull it out; NY just doesn't have the pitching. It sure will continue to be an interesting post season, though. It's fun having it be so up in the air in most cases.

What the hell is going on in Houston? It's in the 17th inning. Roger Clemens is out in relief.

    Leo,

That was an amazing game. Houston was down 6-1 going into the bottom of the 8th inning. They got a grand slam home run to get them to 6-5. Then they were down to their last out in the bottom of the 9th when they got a homerun that was a homerun by about an inch to tie it up. As the game wore on, Phil Garner used all his relievers. Clemens was his last option since apparently the Astros had sent Andy Pettite ahead to Atlanta in case there was a game 5. Roy Oswalt was the only pitcher left and he pitched yesterday so that wasn't much of an option unless they want to risk him getting injured. The game finally ended in the bottom of the 18th on a solo homer.

The funny thing is that I had gone over to the house of a friend of mine who moved here from Atlanta to watch the second half of the Seahawks game and the tivoed baseball game during commercials. Her husband was out golfing and she didn't want to watch alone. I figured I'd be home by two at the latest. I just got home and it's 4:30.

Me too...WTG Astros....Even tho I'm from the South, I'm not a Braves fan (actually I'm not a Chipper Jones fan, which clouds my judgement about the Braves). The only good thing about the Braves this year is Brian Jordan, Julio Franco and the rookies.
I'm pulling for the Angels to win it all!!!!

I hope the White Sox or the Angels win. Anyone but the Yankees!

I was thoroughly disappointed in last night Angel's win. But since I know no other team will ever approach the Yankees' record, it's okay. I'm a fan of all my teams (Yankee's, Jets, Knicks), whether it's win, lose or draw. And, I'm quite proud of the Yankee's comeback from where they were after their dreadful start. Whether you like them or not, they can never be counted out. Or, as Yogi says, "It ain't over till it's over."

BTW, even the owners were hoping for a Yankees victory. They know that post season viewing drops off dramatically when the Yankees or the Red Sox aren't playing.

That's true Florimel. I will keep watching but many people won't. I have no idea whether the Angels or the White Sox are going to win the ALCS. I think it may come down to the health of Colon and Washburn. If they can't pitch early in the series, the White Sox will have a big advantage.
