Craig Biggio just broke the dubious major league record for being hit by pitch for the 268th time in his career, breaking the record previously held by Don Baylor.

Can you imagine being hit by a major league pitch once, let alone 268 times?! Ouch.

The MLB arbitrator must have gotten nothing good from Bud Selig last Christmas because he smacked him down pretty good in his ruling that Rodgers was to be reinstated after 12 games, not 20.

It was only one game but 19 year old Felix Hernandez gave me hope for the M's future last night. Eight innings of shut out ball with a 97 mph fastball, a great curve, and an 82 mph changeup.

Tonight's Red Sox/Yankees game is awesome so far. What a great last regular season weekend this is going to be.

Damn Indians. Lose to the White Sox 3-2 in 13 innings. 1 game down in the wild card race.

I watched the end of that game Unk and thought of you when they got behind 3-1 in the 13th and then had that two out home run. If they win the last two games, they'll at least be in a one game playoff.

I just got home from work after a 16 hour day and checked the MLB site. I was surprised to see the game was still being played. By the time I turned the tv on, it was over. At least the Tribe has done better than expected this year. Those youngsters are playing their hearts out and having fun. Now if we can just get the Browns on board with that program.

The Indians have a bright future. I really do think they have a good chance to still make the playoffs since the Yankees and Red Sox are playing each other.

Yankees are the AL East champs! Go Cleveland! Win the wild card!
