Wow, what a race! When Dale Jr. cut in front of Jeff Gordon there with about 7 laps to go I thought he was going to go ahead and smoke Tony Stewart and take the whole thing....wonder what would have happened if that last wreck hadn't of taken place with 5 laps to go?

Anyhow...go Jeff Gordon!!! And third for Dale Jr.....great start to the season guys.

Too much carnage to make a good showing for the day. Hope next week is better.

Good race, what was Burton's problems getting into the pits, he looked like a bad rookie today!!! Great race at the end, would have loved to see JR take it, oh well. Stewart needs to go back to anger management classes, Johnson didn't do anything wrong from what I saw in the replays.

Pretty much!! I loved how everybody kept saying that.

Ilikai, I agree about Stewart being upset over nothing. I actually thought he showed much more restraint than he has in the past. I figured he would throw a fit to the cameras. I have a feeling we haven't heard the last of it.

I love my man Gordon, don't get me wrong. But did anyone see that stupid commercial where he kept doing that fake running across the screen? He looked like a total tool. I was a little embarrassed for about 30 seconds to be a 24 fan... I snapped out of it, though.

Could kick myself for changing my team at the last minute. Had Gordon and Johnson took them both off. Was looking real good until Waltrip's engine broke.

    JR - 3rd
    Stewart - 7th
    Marlin - 8th
    J.Burton - 29th
    Waltrip - 37th
