I think we can come to a conclusion everyone on this thread pratically hates her (Maria) guts.

How is that Serena wins 6-2, 6-2 with Amelie Mauresmo and is sturuggling with Maria Shrapova? It still amazes me.

You have no idea the amount of people rooting against Maria.

Serena managed to pull out the second set 7-5. I hope she can pull off this last set. The good thing for Serena is that Sharapova has been demolishing her opponents so she's not used to a close match.

I really don't follow tennis as much as other sports but I know of some of players. I'm usually sleeping by now, but I'm watching the women's semis for only one reason... Sharapova

Serena just came back from a service break down to tie the match 5-5. Sharapova couldn't take advantage of three match points.

Whoo hoo! Serena wins the final set 8-6 after surviving a total of five match points.

Wow! Dechy who is the lowest ranked player left is off to a 4-1 lead in the first set against Davenport.

Lindsay ends up winning it 6-4 in the 3rd. Either Lindsay or Serena is going to win so all is well with the world.

Lindsay showed a lot of respect for Serena in a postmatch interview.
