Yeah I heard about that, I bet it was fricken scary if you were there.

Last night at 11 pm local time, CBC would have re-aired the gold medal men's final, sans commercials. It's part of their 50th anniversary thing, and Canada voted that as their fave sporting moment. Or event. Whatever, it was re-aired.

I hadn't seen it since Feburary, and I noticed that Sakic was playing his butt off all game. Mario is human- but we don't want Super Mario fanning on any more wide-open shots on a two man advantage, mkkay? Boy, Paul Kariya is really, really hot. Brodeur really had it on during that game. Man, this is a dirty game. Foote is awesome.

Things like that. Did anyone else watch it?

Great. I missed this. Not that I don't have it on tape already, but did they even promo this at all? Or am I just really stupid and missed it?

And this is Toronto's year, I can feel it!

You're nothing of not optimistic Miss F.

Not that I want to unduly upset Ducky any further, right on the tail of a Redwings Stanley Cup win, but I would love to see Toronto have a great run this year too.
I really don't see it with Roberts out until the New Year.
Sundin may be the captain in name, but I think the team play for Roberts.

They probably advertised the game if you watch CBC Miss F. But how often does anyone do that? Unless it's the Stanley Cup playoffs?

Yeah, sure, Toronto will win the Stanley cup. Riiiiight after this pig flies out the window.

If any Canadian team can win the cup next year it's probably Vancouver. But seeing as Detroit got it last year, it's Colorado's turn this year. :nono Detroit repeat.

I honestly don't think the Leafs stand a chance, there seems to be a lot of turmoil at the club and they've let go better players than they've signed.

Careful Ducky we don't want to get bounced off yet another board

Shhhhh- the admins a red wings fan- so don't get him riled up now I'd only accept Colorado other than Toronto (Vancouver,Calgary, Edmonton) Habs have had it too many times so share...

Hi Miss F ,Its great to see you here !!!!!! yay!!

There was a note in the Tor star that tickets for the Leafs exibition games are $10 bucks and there's lots to be had. Anyone who wants to venture into Hamilton that is ...

(Canuck geography note: Hamilton is like Pittsburg only worse. Its so polluted people can't grow gardens)

Yeah, you guys have two weirdos plunked in the pipes, plus crappy defence (yes it's true, sorry to awaken you to this horrible fact) and weak offence, it doesn't really go back further than a second line. If that.

Ew, Hamilton. I'm just trying to figure out how in the hell to buy tickets to the Oilers game. Skyreach probably has a box office right? I'll ask Dylan, he should know.

Oh I'm quite sure that this isn't Toronto's year. They had a good shot last year, but didn't happen. And without any major acquisitions in the offseason, ain't gonna happen.

I'd still like a Canadian team to get in there. I could also see the Habs having a really good year.. and while I feel like a traitor, there is a lot of talent on that team.

I would love to see a Canadian team in the final, '94 was the last time and we lost in 7 games to the damn Rangers.

The Habs, as long as Jose doesn't have another meltdown, might make it to the final. They might even win! Especially if they aren't playing Colorado. Because yes, Colorado will make it to the final.

Here's a question for you: Who has the skill to knock off the Red Wings so my Avs don't have to play them? I was talking about this with someone and they were like, "Er..." cause we all know game seven was just a freak of nature and Colorado should have mopped the floor with Detroit but for some reason it didn't happen. Anyway, who (other than Colorado) could knock Detroit out of the playoffs? Remember they have to be from the west.

Sharkie !!! actually the pre season buzz is that Sharks may be good.

Use Ticketmaster with card if you can. They give you the option to print to your printer- so no waiting in line. Mahhvelous
