Swinging in the hammock
On the last day of testing at Daytona, Kyle Petty was the fastest at 183.733 mph. Now does that suck or what?!?! How big is the restrictor plate this year to have speeds that low? In other news, Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach are going in partners to start a WC team for the 2004 season. They plan to call it Hall of Fame Racing. Good luck guys!!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!" -- Steve Parker

The race is back!
Ilikai, I'm not HUGE into Nascar, what's a "good" speed for Daytona testing?
Pardon my ignorance.
John, about 190, 195.
hey bro, it may be the new body designs they implimented. i think they mess with the spoilers again. to try and get them to slow down but still be able to race instead of roll along together.
hey Jr. hasn't signed up yet either. he wants less appearences so he can concintrate on the team.
I read about Jr. not signing yet. What ever happened to him taking his dad's number? Is he staying with the 8 car?
not sure on the number, in winston cup. richard childress owns #3. but in busch grand national, Earnhardt Inc owns it and I beleive Jr. and Teresa are getting together to run busch this year
Thanks joeguy. I'd been wonderin about that.
not a problem, I'm a big fan and now that testing is over I've been checking the nascar website and speed fx website and jayski's website for all the good stories, rumours and news. Got to be on top of the info when the big one comes in feb 16th
