College Football 2004

First upset of the year today as Rutgers... yes... Rutgers, takes down Michigan State.

LSU not looking too hot against Oregon State right now either.

I so wanted Oregon State to win!!
The whole OSU team, band, coaches, and cheerleaders should have taken to the field and beat the kicker to a pulp.

I hate LSU, can you tell?

Maybe UNLV will upset the vols tonight. That would make my weekend.

I hate the vols and phil 'the rat' fulmer almost as much as I hate LSU.

Psst...did you see, Penn State beat the Zips. I somehow don't think that is a true bellweather of how the Lions will fare against the Big Ten teams, but then last year they might have lost. I hope that they do well enough that JoePa feels like he can retire on a positive note.

Hey now!! I thought all us SEC folks wanted our fellow conference members to win as long as they were playing out of conference??? I pulled for you guys when you played GA Southern and UNLV never stood a chance!!!

We had some serious hootin' and hollerin' going on during the OSU-LSU game. Sister in law from Louisiana / Brother in law and several of my husbands family are former Beavers.

I wasn't surprised Rutgers beat Mich St. Mich St will compete with Indiana and Illinois for the bottom of the Big Ten (with Penn state not far behind).

I can't believe that idiot missed not one...not two...but three extra points in the same game. That has to be an NCAA record! There's no excuse for that. I'd be willing to bet I could make at least 1:3 with my left foot while blindfolded.

That kicker should be beaten...severly...then thrown off the team. He lost what could have been one of the biggest upsets in OSU's history.

I'm also an OSU fan, but of the Buckeye variety. As usual, the Buckeyes games have been coming down to the wire. At least the Buckeye's kicker can do his job (made a 55yr field goal as time expired to give the Bucks a win).

Just peeking in to say.... I'm from University of Iowa, and I think we beat Michigan State yesterday. (This doesn't really mean much to me, though, because I don't understand football. )

I can't believe Arizona State is good this year (and undefeated!!). They finally get good after I graduate.
