I am happy Ai and Amelie both won. I am cheering for both of them.

I AM SO HAPPY MARIA IS OUT! On the other hand I am upset that Suarez was eliminated.

You and me have the same dislike for Maria. I was thrilled that she lost too.

Jennifer Capriati notched a 7-5, 6-2 win over Japan's Ai Sugiyama Sunday, advancing the eighth-seeded American to the quarterfinals, where she will have a showdown with two-time US Open champion and No. 3 seed Serena Williams. Meanwhile, Andy Roddick continues to run through the men's draw, this time crushing Guillermo Canas, 6-1, 6-3, 6-3. Roddick now moves on to the round of 16, where he will face 18th seed Tommy Robredo. Other Day 7 winners include Tommy Haas, Karol Beck, Joachim Johansson and Elena Dementieva. Amelie Mauresmo and Lleyton Hewitt are in action tonight.
