Maria Sharapova won against Amy Frazier (who took out Anastasia Myskina) 6-4, 7-5 and Lindsay Davenport beat Vera Zvonareva, 6-4, 6-4. I hope they can win their quarter final matches as they could play each other in the semi's and I think that would be a great match! Lindsay plays Karolina Sprem in the quarters while Maria plays Ai Sugiyama.

Must be terrible for Tim with the expectations people have of him.

Here is the rest of the women's draw. I am hoping Serena, Paola (though I really like Amelie), Lindsay, and Ai advance with the finals being Ai and Paola, but I doubt that.

And here is the draw for the men's side:

    Florian Mayer GER

Both Davenport and Sharapova have won their matches. Sharapova and Ai's match was really amazing. I wish Ai would have won.
