Well, TSN revised to say it's a four year $12.6-million US deal.

    Quenneville to coach Colorado

TSN has learned that the Colorado Avalanche will name Joel Quenneville as their new head coach, replacing Tony Granato who had been at the helm since 2002.

Egads!! If that's true, it's news to anybody here in CO, and this would be very big news!

So, I wonder . . . how did TSN find out first?

But Quenneville isn't as cute as Granato.

Now they're saying that Granato is going to be assistant coach!

And it's still not in any Colorado news sources. Go figure.

Yay, I can accept that then. A better coach and a good, cute coaching assistant!

Well, if you approve, that's all we need!

They had an article in today's paper about it, so I guess the CO media got its act together. It sounds like a good coaching matchup to me, too.

The Bruins are being dismantled. Brian Rolston has signed with Minnesota (?!), Mike Knuble has gone to the Flyers and Sean O'Donnell to the Coyotes.
