    I know he's Brodeur's backup.

What I meant was compared to Joseph playing almost every game in Toronto, he has to give it up a fair amount to Legace. Which is fine by me... but he's by no means the 'star goalie' like he was in Toronto.

    Looks good on him.
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

Yes, I know what you meant. I was just saying Schwab will never play this season either.

Duckgirl, is there a possibility of a pool for the playoffs? No money, just bragging rights. Out of the 16 teams, you pick the 1st round winners, 2nd round winners, 3rd round winners and the Cup winner.

    Just an idea.

I think that'd be a totally good idea. We did that once before but once Detroit made it we basically all went off into La-la land and pretended like the Stanley cup winners were the Edmonton Oilers, because that's what the NHL 2002 game said!

Or at least, that's what one of us did.

Oh, but if you want to give me money, that's perfectly fine too.

Could we do this right after the last regular season game?

It will be the Leafs all the way thru , so very easy.

    * The usual deluded Leaf fan drivel*

The Alberta rivalry has always been interesting, I grew up in Calgary so had to cheer for the Flames (underdogs), then moved to Edmonton area and was sort of routing for the Oilers except against the Flames.
The dynasty years really had me not liking the Oilers. Was sure great hockey to wach though.
Now back in the Calgary area and would love to see the Flames doing something other than lose.
This is kinda long winded to say I am a Flames fan.
Just wish I could make the time to watch more though. Highlights seem to be the most I can watch at 1 time.

Check the hockey thread for Harvey's antics at the all star game.
