Detroit is 4 hours from Toronto - Eastern time zone and they are in the WEST? Makes no sense. Of course, I don't want them in my conference, but still....

If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.
You know what? If you look at a map of the US, Atlanta is further west than Detroit.

Colorado is in 6th!!! Whee!
Detroit as #1 is really pissing me off.
Ottawa #1. I guess this means Toronto is fated for a #8 finish so they can give Ottawa their yearly butt kicking.

Some more to chew on - Trade Rumors
Reports out of Vancouver suggest the Canucks are interested in taking a run at Buffalo center Chris Gratton to add some depth. The Canucks have a number of young and inexpensive talents who could interest the cost-conscious Sabres.
Anaheim general manager Bryan Murray has made inquires about New York Rangers right wing Radek Dvorak, who played for the Mighty Ducks boss when they were both with the Panthers.
The Bruins could be getting closer to dealing away holdout defenseman Kyle McLaren. Several reports around the league suggest talks have heated up between Boston and the Islanders. The Bruins are looking for young goaltender Rick DiPietro in return, but New York is thought to prefer dealing Chris Osgood instead.
New Jersey forward Mike Danton, who is under suspension by the team, is reported to be investigating a possible lawsuit against the Devils for failing to trade him.
The Chicago Blackhawks are looking for someone to back up Jocelyn Thibault and have inquired about Washington's Craig Billington and Garth Snow of the Islanders
Brian Trottier is odds on Fave to be the next coach looking for a new job...70 mil in payroll and those results - ya think?
I think Chicago could pick Barasso up off waivers. He'd probably stick it out till the end of the season.
I'd believe Trottier maybe next season, because they could still turn it around! Yeah, in Glen Sather's retarded mind. I'd fire Sather first. Stupid Sather.
