Four wins in a row for the Mariners tonight (and five out of six). Maybe this season isn't a lost cause, after all.
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

It is nice to see some power in the Mariners lineup with Ibanez two home runs to tie and then win the game last night. I think that we would have lost this game with last years line up.

it ain't over till it's over!!!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!" -- Steve Parker

Mariner are you talking about the Mariners/A's game last night? If so, I root for the Red Sox.

by the time I realized you were quoting the only A's fan it was too late to edit. I love the Sox too. Just not as much as the M's. In fact, I took a big boondoggle trip to Boston last year which ended up with me sitting in one of the owner's boxes at Fenway because of a bunch of coincidences. It was an absolute blast.

Ok. I thought I might have slipped up and said "the A's are the best!"

Anyway, that sounds way cool you got to sit in one of the owner's boxes. The best seats I ever get are in the grandstands.
