| I'm finally ready to venture into this thread now that the M's have their first win. I hate off days during the season. Despite losing Saturday, I thought Gil Meche pitched great which was a good sign. | |

| The M's and Braves both got off to horrible starts. Hampton gave up 7 ER in just over 2 IP today. ![]()

| That's not a good sign for the Braves. The M's really need to take two of three from Anaheim starting tomorrow so as not to get too far behind in the AL West. At least we miss Colon this series. I have to say it's kind of fun watching the Tigers get off to a good start. | |

| I must pipe in here and say that I'm so glad that my Blue Jays are 1-5 so far... Every previous season they've started out pretty decent and then sucked for most of the season after that.... this year we will reverse that trend, and suck for the first part, and then start to do well in September or so... |

| Okay, looking at tonights schedule, I see the Yanks and Tampa Bay playing yet again! Are they playing each other 50 times this year? Jeez!
