    Alan Kulwicki Tribute

11 years ago today Alan Kulwicki was killed in an airplane crash. I was a huge #7 fan and certainly do miss Alan and his Polish victory laps. Here is a link to a nice site about his Underbird he won the Winston Cup with. R.I.P. Alan, you are missed!

The first time I saw him race was at the Firecracker 400 in Daytona in 88, he blew his engine on the second lap in turn 4. It was nice to see him do better Always did like him, he did things his way, one of the last independents.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!" -- Steve Parker
