bored: the shortstop stands near second base, not behind that batter. That would be the catcher. Yeah, I admit that it sounds like you're joking.
Thanks. I honestly have no clue what I'm doing at all.

Well, it's the first game tomorrow and I have the Yankee's starting pitcher, mister Mussina!

Oh and Paulie, take care of my precious Barry Zito.

I have done fantasy baseball on Yahoo before, and I've always forgot about the team for most of the season, and ended up with many injured players on my roster...

I'll do my best. I've already been offered some schmo for him. That won't be happenin'.

I need to get a look at my team. I haven't really inspected the players yet. I'm sure it sucks.

So, when the season starts, is this where we discuss the MLB? Or will there be another thread? hint hint
ugh. I don't get time to watch TV anymore, much less hang out at the FORT.

But don't you worry, I'll be back in full force on or about November 3rd.

Hmm... well, I've moved into third even though I have no clue whatsoever what I'm doing.

    This should be... interesting.

Eh, I probably clicked the wrong box. On the good sides, hits should include all forms of hits, so it is just a number compared to batting average's percentage, but it is the same thing in the end, and actually a little easier to gleen from the box scores. I probably should have stuck with On Base Percentage, which is a better measure than BA.

WHIP is a default roto category, and one used in most 5x5 leagues as well. It is actually a good measure of a pitchers individual performance, compared to things like ERA (okay, but deceptive for relievers) and wins (which are team dependant).
