Hey, I like Wake 'cause Tim Duncan played there.

UT has played two powerhouses since I originally wrote that...and got blown out twice.

The ACC is stout this year...really, really stout.

At Texas, huh? Should be an interesting test for both teams.

You're right, Randy...the ACC is stout this year! Should make for a very interesting season.

Yep, it was great when Timmy was at Wake. Too bad Dave Odom couldn't utilize him better.

I actually liked Rick Barnes when he was at Clemson. Too bad he had to go to "your" team. I married an Aggie, can you tell? All in good fun!

Thanks! It's just by association, ya know?

I think Aggies hate the Longhorns as much as Wake fans (and pretty much anyone else in the ACC) hate the Tarheels.

Yeah, Ags can be a little obsessive-compulsive about 'Horns for sure.

A little like 'Horns' fans and Oklahoma.

Whhhhhew!! Josh Childress saves Stanford's bacon in Tempe yet again. Still undefeated with a big game in Tucson scheduled for Saturday. Stanford's looking to be the first team ever to beat Arizona on its home floor four seasons in a row. Go, Cardinal!

Should be a great game Saturday, Paulie. Will be tough for the Cardinal to come away with a win.

It's always tough, but they've done it three years in a row. Why not four?

I know I'll be watching! Not sure who I want to win....I don't really care for AZ, and it's time for the Cardinal to lose. Oh well...it'll be a great game!

Any college hoops fans with DirecTv need to know that this is a "free preview" weekend for ESPN's Full Court College Hoops package. Tune to the 780's from 1/10 - 1/14 for games that aren't on nationally.

I'm finally starting to get revved up for some hoops as the football season winds down.

I wonder about this whole Luther Head situation for Illinois. He will miss a second game today after being arrested although I haven't heard much else.

Although they have a good recruiting class, Indiana may need some good wins to save Mike Davis's job. They've lost to Wake Forest 100-67, Kentucky 81-40, and Wisconsin 79-45. Sunday they travel to Michigan, who are 8-1 at home this year (although against sub-par opponents).
