    Dan Snyder dies of Injuries

I guess this should be in a separate thread . All the hockey folks know that 6 days ago Dan Snyder, a 22 yr old player wit the Atlanta thrashers , and wonder kid Dany Heatley were involved in a horrific crash . Heatley was driving and appears to have just lost control of his Ferrari doing about 80 mph in a 35 zone. No alcohol was involved.

Heatley sustained a broken jaw , torn ACL, and MCL ligaments in his knee and shoulder injuries.

Snyder had been in an induced coma since the accident because of his massive brain injuries . ( Depressed fracture of the skull.) He died of his injuries Sun night about 8:30 pm.

Young Men , Big money and expensive toys , with the bravado that only goes with being young. What a waste ...

Very sad. My thoughts are with his family and his teammates today, especially Heatley.

Heatley will be charged later today with vehicular homicide. Despite being at fault, it can't be easy for him.
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

It's very sad and I hope others learn a lesson from all of this that you're not any cooler speeding but yet you could be a loser.(literally)
My heart goes out to his family and friends and I hope Heatly doesn't get off easy just cuz he's got $$$ and has a name. He needs to suffer the consequences like anyone else would in the same situation.

Wow, looking at the wreck, I am surprised that both didn't pass on.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family. 25 is way too young to die.

Such a terrible thing to happen. It was totally preventable, too.
