Thanks for the sched, DG. I'm sure you'd be happy to take Joe's kids around the neighborhood - and then wait for him to get back from the road trip, eh?

I'm going to dinner in Denver tonight at a little neighborhood Italian place that supposed to be loaded with Avs stuff. I don't get the combo, but some friends of mine with Avs season tix live nearby and love it. I'll let you know if I run into any Avs.

I'm officially surprised Tampa Bay is at the top of the EC standings here.

They are, and they look good. People who say they can't make it should look at the fact they're very similar to Montreal last year. Half decent team with stellar goaltending- that was enough for Montreal to make it.

When I was living down there, they couldn't GIVE away the tickets to the game. Of course, no one down there gives a crap about any game played on ice...But still. You could buy a 10-pack home game package, with food & drinks, for $75.

No kidding. But it used to be the same in Carolina, when they first moved there they had drapes over the balcony they pulled shut because it was EMPTY and it looked bad on TV (duh).

I don't know where the seats were, but they played a couple blocks away from the client I was consulting for at the time. They had billboards all over.
