    Notre Dame Rocks

I just wanted to start a thread about the greatest University on the face of the Earth. In Football, they have the highest all time winning percentage, the most national championships, the most Heisman Trophy winners, the most All Americans and the most fun fans. If you want to comment on Notre Dame sports or the University in General, this is the place.

You've picked a topic that is sure to polarize those who respond. I love Ty Willingham, but my favorite college teams are Colorado State (because they are the local team), Boise State (because I went there for a few years), and ANYONE that is playing against ND.

lol. That's the thing about ND. People either love 'em or hate 'em.

I'm a Stanford grad, and I wish Willingham well, but he did screw our football program over by leaving when he did, right in the middle of recruiting season.

I also feel I should point out that Stanford has won the Sears Directors Cup, which honors the most successful program in NCAA Division I sports, eight years in a row.
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

    Stanford is very cool

I have the utmost respect for the trees. They put out true student athletes. As a ND alum, I gotta root for the Dome, but I respect other serious schools with serious students. I hate these football factories that turn out future strip club bouncers.

    Nice visual!

I never got into college ball, mostly because I'd rather see the few who have the talent for the "big game".

That, and the rules are different, and it bothers me.

Not a LOT different, mind you. Just a little, enough where I go "what the hell are they doing?"
