    Synchronized Skating

Hey everyone! Has anyone heard of...or does...synchronized skating? Just to let you all know, synchronized skating consists of 20 skaters on the ice, performing difficult manouvers set to music. It is the newest discipline in figure skating and is taking the world by storm!!! It's incredible to watch. Does anyone do it?

I've never even heard of it.

I imagine it would be quite the visual spectacle.
Let's just hope the judging is legit.

I've heard of it and seen a little of it too. I don't do it though. No one wants to see me do that.

I used to when I was younger, but I abondoned that to skate individually on the competitive circuit.. which I did until I was 16.
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

Get...out, Miss F! *Elaine push to the chest* That is something I never knew! Tres cool!
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

BTW, I know you don't like Seinfeld. The Elaine reference is for everyone else.

    I got it.

And synchro, does this mean you do it? I loooove syncrhonized swimming, and ice dancing, and I'm betting I'd love watching synchronized skating too.

Miss F, wow, do you have any skating photos for the "what do you look like thread"?

Paulie. Actually, I have watched enough Seinfeld to get it.

I do have pictures, but I think the majority of them are at my mom's house. I skated competitively for a number of years, but I quit when it got too much. I was good, but not Olympic good, and I decided to get out and concentrate on school and stuff.

Just think, it could have been me that got screwed out of a gold medal thanks to corrupt judges.

    Well, not quite.

Glad you added the "out of a gold medal" part. I was starting to get light-headed.
