    The only time I've seen synchronized skating was on the old Donny and Marie variety show. I believe they were called the Ice Vanities.

    Yep, synchronized skating sure has changed. Top teams are even allowed to do lifts like you see in Pairs skating. My team this year qualified for Nationals *in Canada*. Glad to see some interest here! Most people dont know too much about it

    Congratulations on making it to the Nationals SS.
    If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
    It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

    I'm a synchro girl too, I might have some pictures somewhere I can show for those people who are interested. It's a really great sport. I'm just hoping I'll be able to continue next year on a University team since I'm leaving my home club...

    I live in London and used to skate with the Ilderton Skating Club. We've been festival open for the past 3 years and competitive novice before that. How about you?

    I skate on the Ancaster Angels novice team What team were you on at Ilderton festival...? Aww the novice team was sooo nice to us at Nationals, they made us little sunflowers that said WOS on them
