It didn't make sense to me that he would commit suicide when he did. He still had appeals to go through and he was found not guilty in his recent trial. After reading that article, which I think is total BS, it makes more sense now. He did have a reason if he knew that was an option. I don't feel sorry for him though. He can rot in hell.

I don't think he had any chance of overturning the Odin verdict. So having been acquitted of the double murder, killing himself to "clear" his name might have seemed preferable to rotting in jail.

I feel sorry for his family. They are left to feel the pain of his killings & his suicide. They are also left to go through the pain & humiliation they will go through as the family/relatives of such an awful man who hurt others in the way he did. This will follow them for the rest of their lives.
Let them have the peace he didn't deserve. They've hurt no one to deserve the pain they ended up with.

Perhaps Boston University's examination of the brain will come up with something. Football is such a violent sport and we're just beginning to look at the damage it can do to our young men.

So how come that watch didn't go to his daughter?? And how is it that inmates are allowed to possess items of that value? Seems as though it could create problems among the inmates if others knew about it.

Momrek, thanks for the articles. Eye opening, jaw dropping.

Brooks, from what I read, the watch was in possession of a relative or family friend. AH directed that person to give it to his friend.
