*Spoilers* 3/14 The Bachelor: After The Final Rose

Wow 52 pages already? All I'll say is that Chantal dodged a large bullet. I was uncomfortable watching Brad on his LCD with Emily as she was questioning if he understood the implications of being a father in every sense of the word. It only confirmed my suspicions of him all along. Brad is a LOOSE CANNON! He's got major control issues. So, no surprise that they are having some issues in their relationship. Emily basically confirmed that he has a major temper. Emily, run far, far away!

I don't know. I think Emily may have some of her own control issues. She seems like a "Rules" girl from way back. I think she's coming across as a little more real and a lot less sweet than she did on the show. I like it but she kind of scares me.

Brad appears to be gaga about Emily but I kind of wonder if at this point he's holding on so he won't have a failure. I'm not getting the feeling that Emily's anywhere near ready to make any kind of commitment and that's probably a good thing if she can't show some real enthusiasm for her man this early in the relationship.

GMA is advertising the "Backstory" on their show tomorrow. Will have to check it out.

I think she is terribly insecure and she admits that. She didn't like seeing him with the other ladies. She needs to grow up a bit, for sure. She needs to realize that he chose her in the end for a reason...forget all the other girls, it was obvious that he was madly in love with her. And still is...!! I just think she is insecure, doesn't like his temper, doesn't like the tabloids, etc. They need to take a step back and spend time alone, just like they did on the show, to realize what they have is strong and not something you find everyday.

The one thing that we should all be thankful of is their honesty. They didn't go on there and act like everything was hunky dory like a bunch of the other couples. They admit to their problems instead of being actors. Good for them!

Sadly, the bolded is the truth. She needs to grow up. And I don't say it meanly. She met the first and only other love of her life when she was a child!!! She really didn't date like other kids her age and go through all you go through dating because she had a child to raise first.
Emily has a lot of growing up to do.
The good thing is so does Brad. Not meant again in a mean way, meant that he had his own issues and so maybe they can work through them together--if they want to. Counseling is a good thing. Most of us could benefit from it.

The thing for me is that marriage is HARD. I always tell my friends that are struggling with their boyfriends that if things can't be easy at the BEGINNING of a relationship, then they're really going to be unmanageable once things get tough. I've been saying for weeks (and I saw someone else post something similar tonight) that I have never seen Em look anywhere as close to as happy with Brad as she did in pictures with Ricky. He's not the one for her, in my opinion. It'd be best for everyone (especially Ricki) if they realized that early on, regardless of what kind of happy ending the Bachelor audience wants. We got it at the Rose Ceremony tonight, now it's time for them to do what's best for them. Wishing for the best for everyone (but still kind of snickering about how this all went down.)

I love that Emily called Brad out on making out with so many girls, even though he said that he fell in love with her early on.

My thoughts tonight:

1. Chantal looked fierce. Couldn't have shown up looking hotter.
2. Brad couldn't have been more of a douche to Chantal. Period.
3. Emily's edit was def. farthest from her true self than any other girl on the show (and I like the one we just saw)
4. Brad and Emily having admitting to colatile arguments on national TV is just wow.
5. I feel bad for Ricky.
6. The group therapy session was epic.
7. Roo is buying shots for the whole bar at the viewing party.

I don't buy it, I'm sure they had the final two girls sized. If the girls who work at Macy's can size you I'm sure Neil Lane can handle it.

Neil Lane has some custom designed pieces though - these two rings he showed to Brad tonight I've not seen yet from him.

As far as the ATFR bit tonight - I have to say that in all honesty I think both Brad and Emily really do want to work things out, but unlike a lot of the other Bachelor/ette couples, want to do it without the pressure of the show or the stupid tabloids.

Looking in their eyes, I didn't see true doubt in either person's eyes, just a lot of being uncomfortable having their dirty laundry aired out on the show. I mean - seriously, we didn't need to know that their two wedding dates were called off, especially since that does happen sometimes (I've personally seen this in my job - I know I've taken two engagements by the same person months apart).

Do I think this one can work? - yes, I actually do. Will it happen? - depends on the duo themselves.

Given that Emily readily accepted the ring, I do think she's serious in trying as much as Brad. But, thankfully both are realizing there's a difference in real world/fantasy world, are working out the issues they need to do and then they'll see what happens.

On the interesting note - you notice that Ali and Roberto apparently are indeed going to be married, but they didn't mention a date. Could it be we actually see a couple found on the show not have their wedding aired? It'd be nice for the two I think, and it says a lot they're still together.

I truly wish Brad and Emily the best, and whatever happens, I hope they break up amicably if they do split and have a nice simple and happy life if they do marry.

Know we know why the "happy" couple isn't booked on all the talk shows. That was uncomfortable to watch.

This is really sad..he's really fell in love with her and she's just not that into him...

I was sitting here, reading all the snark, laughing at the good jokes...
And then all of a sudden it hit me, how very sad it is! They probably won't work out, and I feel bad for them! Everyone wants to find true love!!

Hilarious. Everyone looked bored and cranky. Even Ali wasn't in a helping mood and giggling like a hyena. That's when when we know things are off.

All of them, even CH, looked like they wanted to be somewhere else.
I really expected Dr. Phil AND Dr. Ruth to walk out on stage to help with the intervention.
