You have to take into consideration that she's a nanny in New York. I'm a student and nanny living in Michigan and can say that I am not complaining about my pay for the hours that I work. I can't imagine what she could be making living in New York. I think a lot of people (I'm not pointing this at you in anyways bloomers ) underestimate what a babysitter or nanny makes these days, It's hard work to say the least!

Would Ashley even have paid full price for that dress? I know Shawntel had a retailer donate a dress to her for the WTA, so I wonder if there's a deal that can be worked out between the prominent girls and retailers in return for wearing their merchandise in front of millions on national television.

I'm with you there. I can't stand the way she puts a question mark after each statement, whether she's asking a question or not as if she's never sure of what she's saying. Goodness, I don't think I could take her as a Lead.

My daughter did babysitting while she was a student in NYC. She made roughly 20-25/hr.
She was offered a very tempting live out Nanny position, but she would have to defer student teaching and finishing her masters. She chose to finish school rather than accept the position. But--the position was very good money, of course, minus health bennies. So I would venture to say Ashley S. is doing ok as a young woman living in NYC.
