Did anyone else notice how Chantal kind of dominated the post-RC toast, after Brad said goodbye to Ashley H.? When Brad said "we're going to Cape Town" Chantal said "I knew it!" and Brad looked at her and smiled. It was almost like Emily wasn't there. Emily reacted but she was very quiet. I also noticed that when Brad was giving out the roses (even though both girls knew they would get one), it almost felt like he called Chantal's name first so that it wouldn't hurt her feelings, since she's so sensitive about Brad's attention. He looked from girl to girl nervously and it was pretty obvious that he didn't have a specific order in mind in which to call them up to get their roses. I don't mean it in a bad way - I love Chantal and I think she's gorgeous - it's just part of her personality to have presence. Emily is much more reserved. I just feel like Brad has to tip-toe around Chantal more than he does with Emily.
I don't know exactly what will happen at the FRC but it's going to be really hard to watch Chantal's reaction if Brad picks Emily
I can't help thinking that before the Fantasy Dates, Brad was set on Emily and Ashley. Had Ashley's date gone better, I think the outcome of the show might have been different.
the biggest surprise twist ending to me would be if Brad realizes he screwed up with Ashley and brings her back... Unlikely, I know. I'm pretty sure he will pick Emily.
Analogously speaking, it makes sense (to me) that Rikki could be considered Emily's "figurative" shark. Her daughter is someone who will always be there and present in Emily's life and whomever she choses to share it with. This will be a relationship quite different from the hearts and flowers stuff. As Emily said ... "Rikki, will always be sleeping upstairs."

Big: You know, Manhattan has a lot of beautiful women.
Carrie: What an amazing observation!
Big: But the thing is, after awhile, you just wanna be with the one who makes you laugh.
