It's a lot easier to play with them for a while then go home and leave them with Mom and Dad. It's a whole different experience and not nearly the same when they live with you. Not saying he's not up to it, just saying that's not anywhere near knowing what it's actually like as an everyday way of life. My being an Aunt didn't prepare me at all for the 24/7 of being a parent!

I don't think Brad ever said it but that was the consensus by some. Bettina and Emily are both blondes, upper class, and both have a similar quiet personality. If Bettina's family had been more receptive, I believe Brad would've chosen her. So with Emily being F1, we now know Brad's type. Arguably it can be said that he let Bettina go, but we have to remember that season that he didn't choose anyone, so it probably was Bettina or no one. Interesting also is that both Chantal and Bettina were divorced. Enter Brad as rescuer from failed relationships.
I also find it curious that his F2 are from the most prominent (and probably the wealthiest) families on this season. So Brad does have a type.
You probably didn't mean this to be funny, but I can't help laughing at how easy it will be to sleuth Brad when he comes back as The Bachelor, Season 22, I Really, Really Mean It This Time. We can just look for the richest one!

YEP! Don't know how many times I loved being able to say, "Look at the time, Uncle Rich has to shove off now..."

    And I adored my nieces...

You know what? I am such a victim to the edit and the spoilers - I have a very dumb, weak, impressionable mind Nothing would surprise me at this point. But I will say this: the spoilers do NOT have anything to do with my girly crush on Chantal. Emily is a sweetheart and I like her just fine but Chantal has won my heart and the biggest reason is because she is out there, unfiltered and perfectly imperfect.

And... because I adore Chantal so much, I just can't get behind an ending with Brad at this point. JMO

Plus, as Brad has said repeatedly he doesn't really have a physical type. A number of guys don't. Alot of people get caught up in that. When Brad first set his sites on his F2 he had no idea their monetary worth, especially Emily.

Brad shut down after he let Bettina go, that's when all of his doubts set in. I know this was denied, but if you watched that season, you can see how crushed Brad was after meeting Bettina's family and we all know he isn't that great at hiding his feelings. I really wouldn't expect him or his friend to admit it, but Brad was humiliated. Plus I don't think Bettina was as into him as he was into her. Anyway, I hope Brad hasn't chosen a type who doesn't live up to his expectations. Apparently, even Emily is questioning that. She is mature enough to realize that life may not be all sunshine and roses with a mother of a 5 year old.

I seriously think Brad's type is having his bros' life.
Big: You know, Manhattan has a lot of beautiful women.
    Carrie: What an amazing observation!
Big: But the thing is, after awhile, you just wanna be with the one who makes you laugh.

Totally different is right. He will get all the love, warmth, and little moments that only a parent gets. He will not have to send them home just when he wants to go to the soccer game and help with homework.

You guys make it sound as if having kids is a bad thing. I think Ricki will bring a lot to Brads life and Brad will bring a lot to hers.
Okay I love FORT's casino, but I really am not very good. If anyone wants to donate their FORT $$ I would gladly accept http://www.fansofrealitytv.com/forum....php?do=donate

Forget Brad, Emily, Chantal and anyone else, I am going to miss reading your posts more than anything about this season!

That's what I'm beginning to think. I do wish them good luck, but some things do stand out and are just too much of a coincidence. Brad has now one upped his brother by having a younger wife (if they get married) and an older daughter.

The soccer games I'm okay with, but the helping with homework I hate! I can't imagine anyone wanting to do that every day. I hope that doesn't make me a bad mom!
