I guess you could look at it either way, in recent terms or past tense.
Right - but why say it - whether he meant that before their FD he was considering bringing her to F2, until the date went wrong, or if it was earlier on in the season, does it really matter? We know that the F4 sometimes get mixed up from it's original formation due to circumstances. I think Amanda would've gone to F2 if Chelsea hadn't turned Matt on, but he didn't say it. This is only the second time (that I remember) hearing a lead indicate that someone should've stayed and the assumption is that the next person exiting should've been the one leaving.

I guess what bugs me is if I were Chantal, that's the way I would've interpreted it, imagine hearing that on Monday night for the first time......

Plus the current F1 and F2 are likely to provide better Christmas gifts :p
That was a great message! And I've had a terrible day, so thank you.I love random acts of kindness.Really, realy appreciated.Scott- RIP SDL<3

Exactly. They had a great time in their own little shared bubble.
But did they have anything outside of that bubble??? Pop that bubble and one came from the life of bubbles from the foam in your beer and the other came from the bubbles in your baking soda tooth paste.
Usually the two don't mesh well together.

I hate when they do this!! Its deceiving and not necessarily an indication that Chantal would not have been in his F2. I have an issue with Brad's lingo and this is multiplied by TPTB inserting VO where ever they like, as many times as they like.

Oh No. I just found a picture of Brad on babyfaceC's FB, and I'm sorry to report... he is still living INSIDE the bubble. I fear for our Happy Couple, Kasha!

I think J was j/k. That isn't really Brad! But I like his squeaky clean image here. (smack)

Brad: "I am having SO much fun."
Ashley: "I am having so MUCH fun."
Brad: "No, really, this is FUN."
    Ashley: "No, really, it IS."

These people are on vacation in fine places on somebody else's dime! (Overlooking for a moment that chemical toilet in the treehouse....)

If you can't naturally enjoy one another's company in that situation, you are not going to enjoy one another's company when you are cleaning up puke at 3 a.m. and living on your own dime. It doesn't get any better for a couple than to be together in a beautiful location, at a lovely hotel, enjoying delicious meals, having your every need and want met. If it feels forced there, being outside that bubble is going to be a hellacious wake-up.
