I noticed a change in her too. I am wondering if she is starting to internalize the body language change in Brad since Costa Rica and Anguilla. She is putting on a brave face, but I think the red flags are setting in. She seemed gracious to Ashley and Em last night and I think she thought she would be sent home as F3 only Ashley left.

As a blunt person who likes to know where she stands, she likes to lay the cards on the table and deal with things as they are. As such, she may be trying to read the clues and realize that yes, she feels herself to be in love with Brad, he isn't reciprocating her feelings as strongly as he was in Catalina. She may be realizing something is off and when she is adding 2 + 2 she is getting 6.

Bevin said that she knew all day that Andy wasn't going to pick her. If you noticed, she was crying on the way to the FRC and was a basket case. She was already looking at Andy like "Why are you breaking my heart?" before he said anything. Would also make sense why F2 Tara was sick on the way to the FRC--because she had the pit of the stomach feeling that it was wrong.

I also saw a somewhat hesitant Brad in the scene with them on the big chair in the FS treehouse. He did seem to be as comfortable with the chemistry part of it as he had in the past.

He alludes to his feelings for her when he says "I'm not sure I should say this" at dinner. I think he didn't want her to get the wrong impression and that's what caused him to pause. Despite the fact that he meant what he said, that he is most comfortable around, I don't think that that equates to feeling like you're the one I want to spend the rest of my life with.

Some of us stay-at-home moms are college-educated, successful women in our own right, who decided being home with our children was worth more to us than a paycheck. Whether the decision is to work or to stay at home, it's a personal choice that's neither right or wrong in my book.

I could see Brad expressing an opinion but if I don't think for a second Emily would just stay home if it's not something she wants to do. She was working before Brad and Ricki went to preschool; I see her possibly doing the same in Austin if she wants to...

I didn't get that at all.
I think he wanted to hear Ashley say that she was going to finish her schooling and then be OPEN to move to Austin and either set up practice there or try to work with an already established practice.
He never gave me the impression that he wants a "trophy" wife or someone that has no goals of their own....only that he wants to be a part of them.

Some years I neither seek out nor stumble into inside information. This year is one of those where I have nothing inside to contribute and I'm happy to comment and snark on the sidelines. Including about the relative weight and credibility of the leaks and leakers.

RS and BG versions of the finale outcome are in equipoise. The good part about Steve is that he never hoards his inside info. He bluntly and immediately passes on everything he knows. Ok, so that's thing one. As of Sunday, it's a tie. And I don't see Steve as dissembling yet at all. If he got bad info, we can trust him to admit it, as opposed to backpedal. It's the Pathology of Steve to put it all out there.

Blondie Gal is in the big leagues. She does not post if she isn't really sure, because she hates to be wrong publicly...as we all do! She never gets into how she knows, etc. It's the track record that speaks for itself, cumulatively. So, a word from her, plus all the behind the scenes clues, tells me it's not a waste of time to rethink my interpretation of where Brad is directing his affections.

Beyond the big league of BG and RS? Not meaning anything personally, but let's get real. Lithargic's spoilage has utterly dissembled four or five times this season. The clues are so vague, and he has not been able to interpret or present them reliably this year. He can't be any sort of tie breaker for me. There's no shame in not being able to nail it every single season!

As longtime Forters will recall, sometimes, I've been able to post nearly the entire filming season, in real time, virtually error free. In addition, I was the first to post Jake was Bachelor (beat RS to the punch by several weeks). As a couple of examples. But I'm the first to admit when I don't have information of the sort of quality that my friends here should waste their time analyzing or trusting.

So, conclusion? It's a tie and lithargic is no tie breaker nor even a clue to such.

    End Essay.

My kids are teenagers now and I still find leaving them for a weekend is hard. I can imagine that Emily misses Ricki immensely and she knows that Ricki misses her a lot. But it is not healthy for Emily to not do some things for herself. She want to fill a void in her life and she has gone on this show and now she needs to leave Ricki to finish this adventure. She knows that Ricki is safe and cared for, she knows that she needs to find happiness with a partner, but leaving Ricki for whatever amount of time hurts... I really don't think you should let something like this bother you

I agree. He was looking for anything that would make room for him, at the very least to have a discussion about it if they were not on the same page. She went on and on about what she wanted to do and where she might want to live. Either she knew full well how she was dodging his questions and was doing it to sabotage the relationship or she is clueless when it comes to relationships. I'm going with the latter, only because during the evening she is still pleading for him to have faith in her. Faith in what? She was never referring to them as a couple!

I totally agree. I thought he was just trying to get her to open up. She gave him nothing to work with when he said he was just trying to design a future for two. What did she want??? He can't go on "a feeling". Does she see herself staying in Maine? Does she envision him moving to Maine? Could she think of her future as "them"? He wasn't simply looking for a [trophy] wife as she suggested.

She was never his F1 - the whole conversation was filler.

and besides that - I really get the feeling something happened before this that we didn't see. Something made her become detached. Maybe it was left over from Anguilla - IDK????
