Last week, it was that Brad was into Emily but Emily wasn't into Brad. This week, it's that Emily is into Brad but Brad is not into Emily. Which one is it?
He obviously cares about all of the girls in the F3 or they wouldn't be there. And, I'd venture to say that all of them care about him on some level, though, last night, we saw enough doubt to explain why Ashley will be F3. It was clear that neither of them knew the other well enough to become engaged.
It'll come down to whose obstacles he wants to overcome.
ETA: Why am I having flashbacks to the Ed debate that because he rarely made eye contact with Jill that he wasn't F1? From the outtakes with Emily, it's obvious that they've talked far more than we see. They kissed, they held onto each other. It happened just like his affection with Chantal happened. We have to deal with it.
He likes both girls.

The thing is Emily's date was filmed first after their supposed great date last week, goodness, I wouldn't have want to be in Emily's shoes asking for a kiss..Seriously IF Brad is going to be a step dad he has to take advance of opportunities when they present themselves...
YUP!! And I haven't read further than this but I can tell you - without question - that this puts a nail in the coffin of the green screen theory!! I thought about it when I was reading that discussion but wasn't in the mood to post and was just WAITING for a time to bring it up.
In green screen usage - NO GREEN can be worn. Or else, it disappears.
It would be Chantel's head, arms and the background.
Really?
Not only was there a PI of Chantal in the green-shirt-ugly-curtain-same hair-same earrings talking about meeting her family, but we saw Shawntel also in front of the same exact backdrop talking about Brad at her funeral home. How in the world could either of them talk about these details before they left for Las Vegas???
Too me that was what was really "odd" about his time with Emily. Clearly she finally seemed "into him" and instead embracing that it seemed to "shut him down". Weird. Was it that the reality of her situation hit him? Was it realizing that she can't/won't/shouldn't uproot Ricki and move to Austin? His lack of affection, touching, comfort etc. was so obvious. There is just no natural "connectiveness" between them. Really at this point, even with editing, I would imagine we'd see more comfort between them. All/most of their connection is established with voiceovers. So either they are really working overtime to hide the connection or there is none.
