I don't think it's awful that Emily chose to be on this show, I am sure Ricki was surrounded by her Hendrick's family while she was gone and given lots of love and affection. Plus she had presents from mommy every day. I do not agree with her choice to allow the meeting between Brad and Ricki to be filmed. Of course I don't think it will damage her, but it does put a child that young under a certain amount of stress just having all those people around. Plus the fact that now you have all kinds of people speculating on how she shouldn't be sucking her thumb, disecting her personality and making judgments on whether she will like Brad as stepdaddy. All for our entertainment. That I have trouble with no matter who the parent is. That's just my stance on it. I know that many do not agree with me and that's ok too.

I have no problem with anything you have said.. I guess I have a problem with Emily bashing biased on somebody's personal opinion.

The thumb sucking was just one comment made that turned into (what sounded to me) like Emily's a horrible mother.. My daughter had a couple of episodes where she regressed a bit around that age. Now she's a beautiful 22 yr old who gets along with most people and no she does not suck her thumb..

And what a statue that was! Perfect piece for Brad and Daddy O to bond over. Funny, Daddy O already knew Brad's self-made man story before the HTD visit, or it was discussed and we didn't see it. I think the two men fell in love right then and there!

So perhaps just Daddy O'Brien and Brad met up in Palm Springs for a round of golf and a beer during the Thanksgiving holiday ????

I saw it here in Ontario, but we get our ABC feed from Detroit... so I'm thinking it was a national commercial.

eta... sorry, I dont' remember seeing it the on that feed, but I have my tv on now and it's west coast feed from Spokane.
