Actually it was 8 weeks of filming - and with a few extra days in SA after being chosen, it could've turned out to be as much as 9 weeks before she got home.

Does anyone know if they sequester the ladies a few days before the M&G?

Brad finally has the chance to spend quality non secretive time with this lil girl. They finally have time to spend together in the public being a real family. Doesn't that take precedence over a media tour if that is how you feel. Ty had a mom and a dad. Lil Ricki doesn't.

[tongue in cheek] Good grief, I'm so sick of people forgetting about the SIXTY THREE presents she left for Ricky, that more than make up for a 9-week (YES, you are correct, 9 week) absence.

Maybe people are missing the fact that it was One Present from Mommy EVERY morning, not every other or something like that.

I'm all about raising independent kids. But let's be real. NINE WEEKS?! Five year old's can be exceptionally well cared for by other trusted adults day to day -- relatives or even hired help. Been there, done that, day in and day out for 15 years.

But NINE WEEKS (with one break in the middle) is a freakin' leave of absence -- for filming a TV show?? All in the LONG TERM interest of what exactly? Mommy needs travel, romance and adventure? Finding a New Daddy? Climbing some professional ladder?

I will never get used to it.

I dont' have a problem with that - the problem is they were booked on several shows as recently as last week - if they wanted this alone time why book them in the first place?? Or ask to postpone it and book later on. that's what doesn't make sense to me.

Yes and that could be Chantal..She has been out and about..And are we sure that the F2 did not got to the taping of the ATFR? If so I could see that would be Emily..JMO of course.

Nice of Brad to let Ashley H. go, if that's really what happened. She may have expressed a desire to leave and not be dumped. We don't know.

Still, these girls signed up for this. They are adults and know the rules of the show. They know the will be mislead and only one will be the one.

Just like Chantal was misled while he chose Emily. Emily could be in the same boat. The fact that she has a child has nothing to do with this at all. She chose to leave that child for 6 weeks and play this game on television.

If she went to F2, then why should we blame Brad? Are Michele and Emily somehow deserving of special treatment?

I don't think so. I think they fully expected they could be gone the entire time and not win the Brad-prize!

I think all the girls realized this, but I think she was talking about the people at home giving Brad grief if he kept Emily this long and didn't choose her. Most of us would be fine with it, but I think the people at home would be more upset. KWIM?

What did lil Ricki do while mommy was off traveling and being on tv?

Why is a few day here in the US such a big deal when a worldwide tour was okay?

The media tour isn't for Brad. It's for a show that is a multi-million dollar business that employs people, offers returns to investors and needs it's free promo.
