*Spoilers* 2/14 The Bachelor: Episode 7

I think the writing is on the wall about the end with Emily. Brad said tonight he didn't know if he deserved her....meaning he doesn't feel good enough for her. I think he walks on eggshells around her and can't be himself or spontaneous. He treats her like a famous movie star or someone on a different plane than him. Jumping ahead to S.A., I think he will not be able to see her and Rikki moving to Austin and fitting in with his life there -- or believe she'd be satisfied with being married to a guy who just owns bars.

I didn't see any chemistry between him and Shawntel, and from the preview of next week, he can't hide his distaste for what she does for a living. He's not going to want to hear about it over dinner every night for the rest of his life.

As for them not showing a lot of the dates, I think they cut tons of stuff from all of them. So many of the 1 on 1 dates tonight mentioned how many things they did that day. With Emily, we only saw them alone on a small patch of beach they called an island. What else did they do? I think she's way too reserved and closed off to be the next Bachelorette. She doesn't emote. I'd bet she won't be.

As for Chantal's weight, I think she looks great -- a lot better than Britt who seemed absolutely anorexic to me, especially when you consider the "10 pounds" the cameras add. I wouldn't be surprised if Brad was turned off by her sticks and bones appearance and that's why there was no chemistry. I would also rather have Chantal's more rounded body than Ashley's huge forehead and what appears to be a receding hairline. Shawntel is the plainest of the group.

Final thoughts are on Michelle's leaving: I wonder how many hours they drove her around in the limo trying to get her to talk but didn't succeed. She seemed determined, laying down on that back seat, not to give them the satisfaction, the same way she wouldn't talk to Brad. Good for her on that one.

I didn't get why they showed Michelle saying she intended to pull Brad aside before the ceremony to pull him back in , when she didn't try. Or did she and they just didn't show it? Even though they were not having the cocktail party, they've had delays and interruptions in the RC before so someone could pull the B. aside. I think she knew she was going home the minute Shawntel's name was called.

I read it out loud to my husband when the tweet came across. It was so rude. She is by no means fat - how many women can wear bikinis ... umm - probably a fairly small portion of the population. She looks healthy and normal vs. a weight wacko.

It was an extremely ugly, uncalled for comment by someone who should not be slamming people on their looks.

I think Chantal is gorgeous and he'd kill to have a woman that beautiful on his arm.

I appreciate his spoilers but yeah. He'd kill to have a WOMAN on his arm, let alone one who looks like Chantal. He's so ridiculous. I feel bad for him though, he's obviously really lonely and unhappy in his own life with how often and with what glee he predicts demise for these couples.

I so agree, and said pretty much that the other day. I'm thinking they knew early on that they weren't going to get much drama out of those girls so they pushed whatever buttons they could to get something to show. And once they knew that Chantal was one of his favorites, I bet it got worse.

I don't get it either. Why cut out the fun stuff (ie snorkeling?). Weird.

I think there is something "strange" going on between Brad and Emily. Their date was so chopped... and they did share some "looks" between each other. At first viewing their date look awkward, but something is going on. I know the spoilers all say that Chantal is F1 and I'm diputing that, just noticing something is up between Brad and Emily

I don't know why they didn't even show the activity on the date. They usually always do. It is so strange. I really don't get why they don't show hardly any of the good parts of their date.

TPTB only want to show the serious side of their relationship, Brad's unsureness on how to proceed and Emily's protectiveness of Ricki. She should be cautious about bringing a man home to meet Ricki knowing that he is making the same kind of hometown visits to three other women. Her sweet little girl is her first priority, even if it means losing out on the possibility of love for herself.

I noticed him and Ashley Hunt were both being pretty cruel about Chantal! Honestly I feel horrible for all the judgement that is being passed on her!
